PIRC Investigation: Commissioner launches investigation after car being followed by police collides with another vehicle


The Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) is carrying out an investigation into the circumstances leading up to a road crash in Holytown, near Glasgow, on Tuesday 25 July 2017 in which a man, woman and child were injured when their car was involved in a collision with another car which was being followed by a police vehicle.

The matter was referred to PIRC by Police Scotland and a report will be submitted to the Chief Constable in due course.
