Commissioner submits report to Crown following death of 31-year-old man

The Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) has submitted a report to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) following an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 31-year-old man who was found seriously ill in Glasgow on 24 August 2016.

The man was treated at the scene but later died on the way to hospital.

The investigation focused on the initial police response after a report of concern was made about the man's welfare.
