Commissioner submits report to Crown following death of 44-year-old man


The Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) has now concluded its investigation into the circumstances leading up to the death of a 44-year-old man following the discovery of a body at a residential property in Stevenson, Ayrshire, on 18 September 2016.

The investigation focused on the man's interaction with officers from Police Scotland prior to his death.

A report on the Commissioner's findings has been submitted to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).
